Expansive Worlds’ serene sandbox fishing sim Call of the Wild: The Angler is coming to PS5 and PS4 later this summer, after hooking PC players last year. The console conversion – which is being created by a dedicated team – promises all of the updates and improvements from the existing release, alongside complete crossplay functionality.
There’s no further information at this point in time – the press release is alarmingly brief – but the game has proven pretty popular on PC, as it allows you to explore an enormous sandbox by foot, boat, or car – and then set up your rod pretty much wherever you like. If you’ve already played theHunter: Call of the Wild, then you’ll be familiar with the concept!
