Black Friday is rapidly approaching, and some companies, like Nintendo, have already revealed their official lineup of deals, while others are lagging a bit behind. Sony hasn’t yet revealed what kind of bargains US players can expect, but it seems they may have quietly let slip their European deals (Black Friday is a worldwide phenomenon at this point).
The Spanish version of the PlayStation Blog has posted a variety of Black Friday deals, which include a nice discount on the original disc-equipped version of the PS5 (as opposed to the new “slim” model) – you can grab a PS5 for €430, down from the regular MSRP of €550.
“PlayStation 5 leads the Black Friday offers with a fantastic discount of €120 on the [original mode] version with a disc reader, both for the console alone and for packs with different games.”
In addition to that, DualSense controllers are now €50 and the following games are on sale…
Again, for now we only know for sure that these deals apply to Spain, but it’s likely we’ll see similar deals across most European markets. Sony temporarily cut the price of the PS5 earlier this summer, with the discounts coming into effect in the UK, Germany, and other regions. We’ll update this post as discounts are confirmed for other parts of Europe. As for the United States, there hasn’t been any official PS5 price cuts there this year, so we’ll see what Sony’s US branch may be cooking up. Hopefully, North American players can also get in on the deals.
The deals listed above go into effect on November 14 and last until November 27.
