The region of Ulukita is expanding in Black Desert Online. Pearl Abyss has announced a new zone, Darkseeker’s Retreat, expanded Arena of Solare, holiday events, and more.
The latest update adds the new zone in southern Ulukita.Adding Darkseeker’s Retreat brings back a familiar name and a family feud. Prince Bareeds III of Mediah is at the heart of the new story in the new zone. Returning for the first time since 2015, the prince and his feud with the Premier, their conflict, and more all await in the new zone. Darkseeker’s Retreat follows the previously-added zones, The City of the Dead and Tungrad Ruins, and builds upon those releases.
Entering the new zone, you'll be prompted to investigate the feud, and you should prepare to fight. The team has created a fully voice-acted questline with illustrations and cutscenes similar to those in the Land of the Morning Light expansion.
In addition, you will be able to find the materials to make Ator’s Shoes. This is the final piece of the highest grade armor in Black Desert. Once you've done that, you'll be able to choose between two bonuses from the shoes, either damage reduction or evasion.
The update will expand Arena of Solare. Not only will there now be a full-time practice mode for the PVP arena and a 3v3 match type for both ranked and practice matches, there's also a new invite-only custom mode. In this new mode, you can set up your own teams for the arena completely custom and you can even turn off matchmaking if you want to keep things strictly invite only. Expect the practice mode to arrive November 29th and the custom mode on December 6th.
The Thanksgiving event begins tomorrow. You can defeat wild turkeys and earn some buffs including Blessings of Abundance and
