Prytania Media has closed down another studio.
News that Possibility Space was shutting its doors emerged via former staff posting on social media, with GI.biz saying that it has been able to independently corroborate this information.
This comes hot on the heels of Prytania Media shutting down Crop Circle Games towards the end of March.
On Twitter, Polygon senior reporter Nicole Carpenter posted an internal email send by Prytania's boss Jeff Strain, in which he told staff that they were being laid off. The exec says that this is due to staff leaking information about an upcoming project to Kotaku's Ethan Gach for an article into the closure of Crop Circle Games. Said project – dubbed Vonnegut – was reportedly cancelled mutually by Prytania and the game's publishing partner.
Finally, Strain wrote that he was leaving the games industry to care for his wife, Annie, who has multiple sclerosis.
"I wish all of you the best as you navigate this complex industry and the challenges and opportunities ahead," Strain wrote.
