Bandai Namco's colourful, anime-styled MMORPG Blue Protocol was previously targeting a 2023 release on consoles — including the PS5 — but it's now been pushed into a vague '2024' window. Don't lose too much faith in the project, though — it's actually still launching this year for PC in Japan, so the game is ready to roll, just not in the West, and not on multiple platforms.
We were betting on Blue Protocol getting a release date at Summer Game Fest, but it looks like you can cross that prediction off your bingo card. Hopefully the Western launch comes together next year, and the free-to-play title ends up being worth a try.
