Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming animated anthology Secret Level will still have an episode based on Concord, it’s claimed.
Secret Level, which was announced during Gamescom‘s Opening Night Live presentation this year, is a new “adult-animated anthology series” featuring original stories set within the worlds of various video game series.
The series will consist of a total of 15 episodes, based on such IPs as Pac-Man, Armored Core, Mega Man, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds 2, Sifu, Unreal Tournament and Exodus.
It also has an episode dedicated to Concord, as well as another based on PlayStation Studios IP in general.
Now that Concord has been pulled from sale after just two weeks, some have wondered what this means for the Concord episode in Secret Level.
However, IGN reports that according to its sources, the Concord episode will remain in the line-up, and will still be present when the series arrives on Prime Video on December 10.
Secret Level is from Blur Studio, the animation and design company founded by Tim Miller, the director of Deadpool (2016), Terminator: Dark Fate (2019), and Love, Death & Robots (2019).
“Every time a trailer comes online, we see hundreds of comments from fans like, ‘why can’t we have a movie or series like this?’,” Miller said while announcing the show. “And we couldn’t agree more, which is why we are so excited to share this series.”
Earlier this week Sony announced plans to take new live service shooter Concord offline, pull the game from sale and offer refunds to all players who bought it.
The news followed reports that the PS5 and PC gamemay have sold as few as 25,000 copies across both platforms since its release on August 23.
