Priest Racial Ability Will Require One-Time Server-Wide Unlock - Season of Discovery
In their official notes for WoW Classic Patch 1.15.3, Blizzard has teased that the new Priest Racial Ability in Season of Discovery's Phase 4 will involve a «server-wide unlock».
Just a month ago, we have reported that the ability called Priest Racial Ability seems to be implemented in Season of Discovery after a short tease during the development team's Phase 4 Preview Video.

Priest Racial Ability Rune Datamined On Phase 4 PTR
After weeks of speculation, we now know not only that Priest Racial Ability will become reality in Phase 4 — we have also learned that there will be some server-wide effort needed to eventually unlock the ability:
- Priests can now discover a method to unlock the ability for utilize a second Priest-specific racial ability such as Fear Ward, Devouring Plague, and Starshards.
- Developers’ notes: We’re going to be keeping the nature of this discovery secret, but there are elements of this process that involve a one-time server-wide unlock. May the power of the light (or shadow) guide your way!
