Award-winning rapper and music producer Post Malone has curated the soundtrack for WWE 2K24, 2K Games has confirmed.
The musician, whose real name is Austin Post, has arranged the game’s 12-song soundtrack, which includes two of his own tracks.
He will then join the game’s playable roster as part of a DLC pack which will launch at some point after the game’s release.
“The secret to a great video game soundtrack is a little something for everyone and for every mood,” Post said in a statement. “It gets you excited and it gets you pumped up to play. This has been a total blast. We have a lot of cool ideas, so I’m super excited.”
WWE head of music Neil Lawi added: “Austin’s passion for music is on full display with the artists and songs he chose for WWE 2K24, which accurately reflects the current soundscape of WWE.”
The full WWE 2K24 soundtrack is as follows:
The latest edition of the WWE 2K series will be released on March 8, and will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Players who pre-order any edition of the game will get the Nightmare Family Pack, which includes two alternate versions of Cody Rhodes (Undashing and Stardust), the 1976 version of Dusty Rhodes and ‘Superstar’ Billy Graham.
In a recent WWE 2K24 hands-on preview, we said the latest entry “appears to be business as usual”, which we felt was a positive sign given how well-received the previous two WWE 2K games have been.
