Poppy Playtime Ch. 2: Is There A Daddy Long Legs
Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 is coming up with Mommy Long Legs as the main antagonist, but some are wondering if there's a Daddy Long Legs. The trend has broken out over the internet in the wake of Mommy Long Legs' reveal, but its veracity is questionable. The full content of Chapter 2 likely won't be revealed until it actually releases, so anything is possible, but for now, it's best to take it all with a grain of salt.
In Poppy Playtime Chapter 2, players will explore the abandoned Playtime Co. toy factory once more, this time evading a large pink doll named Mommy Long Legs instead of the series' iconic Huggy Wuggy. From the looks of things, the new monster will be no less vicious than the last, and perhaps even more so. It's not necessary to play Poppy Playtime Chapter 1 before Chapter 2, but the first entry does have some interesting lore that may add context to the next entry. The Chapter 2trailer paints Mommy Long Legs as an eerie monster far more intelligent than the brutish Huggy Wuggy, but much about her is still unknown.

Along with Mommy Long Legs, however, there's come whispers of a Daddy Long Legs. This monster has shown up mostly in fan art and video animations and has not been acknowledged by the creators of Poppy Playtime. Whether it will show up in Chapter 2 or a future entry is unknown, but anything is possible since the series is still in its early stages. Huggy Wuggy does have a «better half» in the form of Kissy Missy, so it could end up being part of a larger theme. Kissy Missy could be Poppy Playtime's main monster in Chapter 3, perhaps even alongside Daddy Long Legs.
