The Supporter role in Unite is one of great importance and difficulty, with the primary objective to assist allies in any way possible.
In opting to play as a Supporter, you become essential to their survival and success — you're choosing to take on a burden in which your choices often make or break matches.
Supporters are defined by their movesets, given their raw stats are typically lacking. Some provide healing to themselves and allies, while others provide buffs or debuffs to allies or opponents.
You may also be able to call upon crowd control, moves which leave your opponents slowed, stunned and vulnerable.
As mentioned above, your task is to aid your allies with your healing and support moves. It's essential that you are always accompanied by at least one ally, because your moveset will be pretty useless otherwise.
You're highly vulnerable when running solo, and with respawn timers becoming longer as the battle progresses, you're only going to hinder your team if you're not around.
Supporters typically go to the Top or Bottom lane, alongside an Attacker or All-Rounder. There's no ambiguity here, given a Supporter's dependency on their moveset requiring a teammate.
