Vanderpump Rules: Lala Kent Shares How She Has No Dating Game

Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent went through a very public breakup with her former fiancé Randall Emmett last year, and she recently shared that her dating game is rusty. Lala, who shares one-year-old daughter Ocean with Randall, ended her engagement with him after more than five years together when she discovered that the movie producer was cheating on her. Lala confessed to ignoring red flags, and she later realized how emotionally and physically distant he had been toward the end of their relationship.

Despite Randall wanting to work things out with Lala, she shared that there was no trust left between them. Following the breakup, Lala dipped her toes into the dating pool, with one caveat. The Vanderpump Rules star revealed that she is now hiring a private detective to do a full background check on potential suitors and that she wants to know everything from their credit score to their family history.

Lala has been open about moving on from Randall and being excited to date again. However, she recently shared on Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef that her game is really bad. She told David that while she wasn’t using any dating apps, she has slid into three guys’ DMs. When asked what her approach was, Lala said,“It’s almost embarrassing. Like the first time I ever slid into the DM, I did two emojis. And I was like, my game is so bad. Like, what am I doing?” Lala, whose first date after Randall was a group setting, compared herself to a 90-year-old but then said, “Phone numbers were exchanged and I guess I have a little something that is called game, and there’s not much there but I can work with it.”
