On Carlos King's Love & Marriage: DC,Monique Samuels is coming back to reality TV following a two-year break, and she's letting fans know that they'll see "the real me." She was last seen reading the cast to filth on The Real Housewives of Potomac season 5 reunion. Following a drama-filled season that included a hair-pulling fight with Candiace Dillard, Monique exited the show, promising to never return. However, after a few years to herself, she's back with Chris Samuels, and both of them are better than ever.
Monique had one of the most dramatic RHOP exits. Fans were split on who to side with after Monique finally acted on her threats to "drag" Candiace. The two got into one of the only physical fights in Real Housewives history, and fellow cast members had mixed reactions. Some of the ladies, including Gizelle Bryant and Wendy Osefo, no longer wanted to film with RHOP's Monique, while others, such as Ashley Darby and Karen Huger, showed sympathy for her. Since her exit, RHOP has continued to dominate the Housewives franchise as one of the fan favorites, and former Housewives producer Carlos King has been working to build an empire of his own under the Love & Marriage imprint.
