CoD's Nuketown Is Playable In Real Life At Paintball Park

The famous and long-running Call of Duty Nuketown map can be experienced in real life via a detailed paintball course. Although Call of Duty regularly adds new maps, especially as the franchise shifts more towards a live-service model, there are certain levels that have been revamped and reiterated several times over the years, and Nuketown is one of them.
First introduced in 2010's Call of Duty: Black Ops, Nuketown was positioned as an eerie, uncanny testing site for nuclear weapons. Based on real-world nuclear testing facilities in the 1950s USA, Nuketown is small but packed with interesting details. As its name suggests, the map is a portion of a recreation of a typical US suburb, featuring manicured lawns, cookie-cutter homes, school buses, and white picket fences. Many players may also vividly remember the many creepy mannequins scattered throughout the map, designed to simulate the mothers, fathers, and children of so-called nuclear families. Following the first Black Ops game, different versions of the map would be featured in each Black Ops release, with Nuketown being available in Black Ops Cold War, a sign of its longevity and legacy as an iconic franchise staple.
