Ahead of the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, the upcoming Gen 9 games that launch at the end of the year, a lot of artistic Pokemon fans have been making their own artwork based on the new creatures that have been introduced in the games' trailers thus far. One fan made a statue of the new legendary Pokemon named Koraidon, who appears on the box art of Pokemon Scarlet and has gained a lot of popularity in the past month after the second trailer for the games released.
Many Pokemon players are excited for the releases of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, which were first revealed on February 27. Since then, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have slowly been introducing fans to some of the new Pokemon that they will be able to catch, trade, and battle with ir against in the upcoming Gen 9 titles, including Pokemon Scarlet's mascot, Koraidon.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Fan Makes Crochet Version of Lechonk
A Reddit user named Squidart3D made their own statue of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet's Koraidon and posted two images of it online for other fans to see. The first image shows the completely colored statue from one perspective with a red background, while the second shows the legendary Pokemon in three different perspectives, with Koraidon being gray, with a darker shaded gray background.
A lot of Pokemon fans enjoyed the statue that Squidart3D made, giving the Reddit user a lot of compliments and asking a few questions about how it was made. Squidart revealed that they designed the statue to work on a Resin and Filament 3D printer, though the images of Koraidon were taken from a 3D model rather than a printed copy.
