Pokemon has a deal with Mattel that means you can't build the likes of Pikachu and Charizard out of Lego, at least not officially. That's because you can build them out of Mega, Lego's toy brick rival. Several Pokemon and iconic locations from the games and the anime have been turned into Mega sets, and the next one coming to Pokemon's Mega collections might be its most elaborate to date. An Eevee made up of almost 1,400 pieces that actually moves.
Pokemon doesn't appear to have revealed the Eevee set yet, but a pre-order listing for it is already up, and PokemonRestocks has shared the first picture of what it will look like once complete. The elaborate Eevee is standing on a Mega-grass-covered plinth with pawprints around it. Other than its size, the reason it's so elaborate is because, if built correctly, you will be able to turn the set's crank to make it look like Eevee is running.
According to its item description at Entertainment Earth, Eevee's head and tail will swing as it runs. The nameplate displayed on its base can also be removed and replaced, seemingly so Eevee's name in other languages can be displayed if you'd prefer. You can place your pre-order for the Showcase Motion Eevee set through the link in the box below. It's priced at $96.99 and has a vague release date of June 2024. That likely means it will be officially revealed soon and likely available elsewhere once that reveal is made.
Pokemon's Showcase Motion Eevee is made of 1,381 pieces and can actually run once complete. The Mega set has a crank attached which not only makes Eevee run in place when turned, but also makes the Pokemon turn its head and wag its tail.
