2022 has already been a full year for Pokemon GO between major events and brand-new Pokemon joining the popular mobile game. Pokemon GO's «Season of Alola» event throughout the Spring brought the first members of the franchise's Gen 7 Alola region to the game. Niantic previously revealed that this year's «Pokemon GO Fest» would feature in-person events for the first time since 2019 with events in North America, Europe, and Japan. Now, the newest update from Pokemon GO is teasing its plans for the coming month with lots in store for July.
Fans of Pokemon GO have already been treated to plenty of news on what's to come for the game in July. The Gen 4 bird Pokemon Starly has been confirmed for the coming month's Community Day on July 17th, featuring increased spawn rates and shiny chances. Pokemon GO Fest's live events are set to debut the newest members of the Ultra Beasts to join the game with the Berlin and Seattle events coming during July. Now, Niantic has released Pokemon GO's «July Content Update» revealing featured raids, spotlight hours, and even a mystery event.
Pokemon GO Reveals July 2022 Community Day Pokemon
Pokemon GO's newest roadmap reveals the legendary birds, classic Mega Evolutions, and more are set to feature in the game throughout July. Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will all feature in five-star raids throughout the month with each also receiving their own Raid Hours for the first three Wednesdays. The Pokemon Diamond legendary Dialga will also feature in 5-star raids and during the last week of July's Raid Hour. The game's weekly rotating Mega Raids will feature Mega Charizard X and Y for the first two weeks of July before rotating into Mega Pidgeot and Mega Gengar later in the month.
