As one of the three Team Rocket Leaders in Pokémon Go, you'll need some powerful Pokémon in your team to defeat the difficult boss battle.
Like the other Team Go Rocket Leaders, you will need to take out some grunts to assemble the Rocket Radar if you want to track him down — and when you do, he will be ready to unleash some tough Pokémon to stop you from winning.

One of the things that makes Cliff tricky is the fact that there are six potential Pokémon he could throw at you.
The battle will last for three rounds, and the only one you can guarantee is the first one — he'll always start off with Machop, but the other two rounds have multiple options each.

A strong Fairy-type Pokémon will do well against many of the Pokémon Cliff can use. As would a Flying-type and Psychic-type.
