Funko Pop’s 2023 Pokemon Holiday calendar is set to launch on June 26, but you can preorder the limited-edition set right now at Amazon.
This $50 box set features 24 mini “Pocket Pop!” figures of beloved Pokemon like Eevee, Pikachu, and Charizard. The vinyl figures vary in size but are smaller than the standard Funko Pop, with the largest possible figure standing just two inches tall.
Like other Advent calendars, this set gimmick is that you open one mystery figure per day during the 24 days leading up to Christmas. Each set contains the same 24 figures, but they're hidden behind within the calendar's packaging, so you won't know which Pokemon you'll get until you open them. Of course, you can just open all the figures up at once if you prefer, but revealing each figure one at a time is a fun activity for the winter holiday season, especially for kids.
Dropping a holiday-themed Funko Pop set in June might seem a bit early, but the potent combo of Funko Pop and Pokemon almost guarantees the collection will sell out quickly--just like they have in previous years. Plus, you’re getting 24 unique figures for just $50. That’s a great deal, and you should preorder at Amazon right away if you plan on grabbing one.
