Now, Pokemon fans can even buy a Gengar-themed engagement and wedding ring.
Gengar is known as the Shadow Pokemon and it is the final stage of the first Ghost Pokemon evolution line available in the Gen 1 Pokemon games. It evolves from Haunter, which evolves from Ghastly, and the three share a spiky purple design sensibility. The whole evolution line appears to be modeled after the concept of mischievous ghosts that haunt the living.

Japanese jewelry maker U-Treasure has recently shared designs for a Gengar-themed engagement ring and accompanying wedding ring, allowing Pokemon fans to have an adorable ghost haunting their nuptials. This isn't the first time U-Treasure has produced an official Pokemon wedding ring, but it may be one of the most clever. Gengar is a Pokemon well-known for its ability to phase through objects and appear out of nowhere, and U-Treasure incorporated those traits into the wedding ring design.
The engagement ring design features a tiny Gengar sitting to the right of the jewel and propping it up with one arm. The figure features lovingly rendered back spines, tiny eyes, and even a grin with individual teeth. In the wedding ring, however, things take a turn for the surreal as Gengar is shown phasing out of the ring band itself.
