The esteemed actor would later make his mark in breakthrough roles in October Sky and Donnie Darko. With a slew of acting credits to his name, Gyllenhaal recently entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Mysterio, leading to a showdown with Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Gyllenhaal's upcoming projects include a project with Guy Ritchie dubbed The Interpreter and a leading role alongside Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in Bay's new 2022 thriller, Ambulance.

Bay is well-known for using special effects and CGI to create incredible onscreen visuals, well-documented throughout the Transformers franchise and in his other major motion pictures. Gyllenhaal and co-star Abdul-Mateen recently appeared on a talk show to discuss their upcoming film, Ambulance, and a memorable experience with Bay.
