Poké Post Pop-up experience to tour UK, France and Germany this Christmas
The Pokémon Company has announced the Poké Post Pop-up Experience, which will tour the UK, France and Germany this Christmas season.
The event will see fans get the chance to send a special present to someone, which includes a pack of Pokemon cards, as well as a new Pokémon Together promo card of Pikachu or Eevee.
The Pikachu and Eevee cards are reprints of the cards from the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet 151 set with a new Pokemon together stamp on the card art.
This one-day pop-up experience will tour across select cities in the UK, France and Germany for six weeks between 18 November and December 19. The full list of locations are:
The Poké Post pop-up experience will also feature photo opportunities and Pikachu and Eevee appearances. The activity is free to participate in, and booking isn’t required.
Peter Murphy, Senior Director of Marketing at The Pokémon Company International said: “If there is someone in your life that would love to receive a Pokémon-themed surprise through the post this winter, then this is the place to sign them up!
“We can’t wait to welcome the new generation of Pokémon Trainers who are starting their journey with someone special this holiday.”
The Pokémon Company will be hoping that this promotion runs more smoothly than its last promotional event, which saw it collaborate with the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam.
In September, The Pokémon Company was forced to apologise after scalpers appeared to spoil a planned collaboration with the museum, which saw a line of unique Pokémon x Van Gogh merchandise made available.
