Warning! Spoilers ahead for Poison Ivy #1
In the DC Universe, Poison Ivy just received a nasty and deadly power boost. Unfortunately, it goes against everything readers know about how her powers work.
Poison Ivy has been undergoing a bit of a transformation lately. Poison Ivy was split into two different parts of herself. One being an immensely powerful being calling herself Queen Ivy. The other, just going by the name Ivy, was a bit more troubled by her identity crisis. She still had a connection to the Green life force behind all plant life, but it was twisted and much weaker. Ivy was unhappy and sought out a means to regain her former strength and be one with the Green again.
