Nightdive Studios has announced that it is releasing PO’ed Definitive Edition for PC, Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. PO’ed first released in 1995 and is essentially a DOOM clone, though the character in PO’ed is a chef who has crash landed on an alien planet. You can see the game in action in the announcement trailer below.
PO’ed Definitive Edition has upgraded visuals over the 1995 release, along with updated control layout, antialiasing, and up to 4K 144 FPS action. The game also features 25 different stages to play through, and 16 different enemy types to take on in the fight for survival. Players are equipped with a jetpack as well as various weapons including a power drill and the Meat Seeker. PO’ed Definitive Edition will also have a new difficulty for players that want the hardest challenge available, and there are 15 achievements to unlock too. Localisation support for English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish is also included in this release.
