Here are some important notes that would benefit players to know.
- Fire Whirl is the highest damage per cast and it isn't even close.
- A lot of utility spells also do a decent amount of damage.
- Faeform not only can be used while CC'ed to break it, it also prevents any further CC and reduces damage taken by 90%
- Repel prevents all CC and damage while casting.
Ability Details
Here are the attack power coefficients of all the Abilities in Plunderstorm. The attack power coefficients can be directly compared, but if you want to know how much actual damage you'll do, you can multiple by the Attack Power values in the below section. Wonder why everyone has gravitated towards Fire Whirl? The total damage of Fire Whirl at rank 1 has a 1.11 attack modifier if you hit with the entire thing, which is higher than every other spells' Rank 4 coefficient. Essentially a Rank 1 Fire Whirl will do significantly more damage than a single cast from any other ability by at least double (except for a Star Bomb but this ability is so hard to hit in PvP combat).
