Sony has given a rough outline of what they will be selling and discounting during Black Friday 2023, with what is one of the biggest sales bonanzas of the year kicking off on 17th November – technically the Friday before. What PS5 Black Friday deals will we be getting?
The PlayStation Store will play host to a bunch of discounts across hundreds of games, which Sony say will include EA Sports FC 24, NBA 2K24, Assassin’s Creed Mirage and more. This sale will run from 17th to 27th November, so there will be plenty of time to pick up a new winter game.
PlayStation Plus is a pretty solid get as well, and through the same period Sony has three offers:
It doesn’t seem like Sony will be letting you top up an existing subscription… which sucks. Still, newcomers and upgraders could get access to Horizon Forbidden West, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Sea of Stars and more. Premium/Deluxe members also get access to the Sony Pictures Core app with a library of movies to watch bundled in.
Speaking of bundles, let’s talk hardware. There’s no details on price or percentage, but whether it’s direct from PlayStation or through participating retailers, look out for bundles that include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. There will also be offers on DualSense controllers, PS5 console covers and more. In the US, these bundles will include the recently released PS5 Slim, but other regions will have the older original design – though it’s been confirmed through testing that they both share the same internal chipset and power consumption savings made last year.
And if you want some PlayStation and gaming merch? The PlayStation Gear store will have up to 20% off through that 10 day sale window. From 24th to 27th November, though, orders over $75 get fre shipping
