Two Apple TV+ free trial offers are currently available to PlayStation console owners.
As spotted by Push Square, PS5 players have until July 31 to claim a sixth-month trial of Apple’s streaming service.
The offer isn’t only available to new users. Viewers already on a free trial or those who are subscribed to the service (unless it’s through a bundle offer like Apple One) are also eligible for the promotion.
On PS4, a three-month Apple TV+ free trial is available for new subscribers only. It too can be claimed until the end of July.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members have previously been offered the chance to claim three-month trials of Apple TV+ and Apple Music.
It was recently claimed that Apple has significantly scaled back its production targets for its long-anticipated mixed reality headset, Vision Pro.
Announced during its Worldwide Developers Conference in June, the headset will cost $3,499 when it launches in the US in early 2024.
Billed as Apple’s “first spatial computer”, Vision Pro will also be released in more countries later next year.
According to a Financial Times report, Apple once had an internal sales target of one million units during Vision Pro’s first year on the market.
However, this has reportedly been reduced due to the complexity of the headset design and manufacturing difficulties.
Two people said to be close to Apple and Luxshare, the Chinese manufacturer that is currently thought to be the only assembler of the headset, said it was preparing to make fewer than 400,000 units next year.
