Exoprimal has now gone live across all platforms.
You can see the game available on Steam here, on the PlayStation Store here, and on Xbox here.
It’s also available on Game Pass. As reported by PCGamesN, Exoprimal is not Steam Deck Verified, but it is compatible. Players will find that text has not been adjusted and other accommodations have not been made to make it playable on the Steam Deck, or Windows based portable gaming devices like the ROG Ally.
Exoprimal is Capcom’s brave new foray into live service shooters. Instead of the popular battle royale or Team Fortress formats adopted by other shooters, Capcom has opted for a combined PVP and PVE format.
The scenario is a wild out-of-this-world concept, involving an artificial intelligence trying to take over the world by unleashing large hordes of dinosaurs against humanity.
You play one of many soldiers powered by cutting edge exosuits. The exosuits give each soldier special abilities to help them take on the dinosaur hordes, though they can just as likely use them on each other.
The main game modes involve two teams of five soldiers each competing over fighting the dinosaur hordes.
Capcom posted an update regarding the game’s launch as well. You can read the full text of the update below.
