For those who are into horror but have yet to play Kinetic Games' online ghost hunting title Phasmophobia, there's still time to check out what all the fuss has been about. As one of the best horror games of 2020, it's still pulling in a dedicated fan base of paranormal fanatics, and is especially popular among the streaming crowd. Now more than ever is as good a time as any to jump into the experience, and the developer is continuing to make changes and implement new ideas.
In the latest dev preview post on Steam, the British studio has been talking about some of the new content that's due to roll out for Phasmophobia at some point. Among other things, there is the addition of two new ghosts. Similar to other spectral teases in the past, the Steam page shows an image of the game's player journal, with the names of the new ghosts blurred out, though some description can be seen, hinting at roughly what can be expected in terms of their behavior.

On top of that, there will be some changes to the truck that all players start in, as well as a change to the voice recognition system. The details about these changes are not stated, so it will be interesting to see what will be different about them. As well as this, there's also the mention of Sunny Meadows. Kinetic hinted at this in a previous post. Essentially, Sunny Meadows is a rework of a current Phasmophobia map, specifically the asylum. This latest post shows a few images from the rework, which includes a series of «torture tools,» and an image depicting a horrible looking bath in a dingy room.
