Fans of the popular Swedish streamer and content creator PewDiePie were bewildered by his apparent return to Twitch. In 2020, PewDiePie signed an exclusive livestreaming contract with YouTube, which was expected to lead to his departure from Twitch. Nevertheless, a bizarre video was streamed on March 21 from his Twitch channel.
PewDiePie started his YouTube career in 2010 by recording himself playing trending video games and quickly became one of the most influential stars on the platform. His outrageous antics and unique sense of humor were quick to capture the attention of millions of viewers worldwide, who would religiously tune in to his videos. As the years went by, PewDiePie became a trailblazer in the social media industry, even managing to get himself the Guinness World Record in 2015 for having the most subscribers on YouTube (a record he managed to hold until November 2022, when PewDiePie was overtaken by Mr Beast). However, YouTube wasn’t the only online platform he dabbled in, as he occasionally also streamed videos on Twitch.

Even though PewDiePie's Twitch channel was inactive for a couple of years, the internet community was left shocked after a weird video started streaming on March 21 on the platform. The said video involved parts of PewDiePie’s old content, but what’s more curious is that his channel also started broadcasting a few episodes of Trailer Park Boys, an iconic Canadian sitcom. Since PewDiePie had never mentioned anything about the curious incident, fans were left wondering if the internet celebrity has perhaps fallen victim to a hacking attempt, by some sort of mischievous cyber-criminal.
