Marvel has dropped a new trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion. The show is set to bring Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury into the spotlight.
Based on a similar event in the comics by Brian Michael Bendis and Leinil Francis Yu, Secret Invasion centers around a conspiracy to replace high-ranking figures in the government and superhero community with shape-shifting Skrulls. Nick Fury, who trusts no one but himself to uncover the truth, is preparing for a war that only he can wage. Check out the clip below.
The latest trailer for Secret Invasion sees Nick Fury return to Earth after laying low since the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home. However, his absence has not gone unnoticed, and Skrulls loyal to him on Earth have witnessed the extremist Gravik using Fury's absence to justify their increasingly violent attempts to gain freedom on their adopted planet.
Despite the growing danger, Fury refuses to contact the Avengers for assistance, leaving him to tackle the threat alone. While the trailer doesn't reveal whether the Avengers will make an appearance, it promises an exciting and engaging experience for fans when the series lands on Disney+ on June 21. Fury's reunion with old allies, Maria Hill and MI6's Sonya Falsworth, will be essential to his fight against the Skrulls.
The previous trailer for Secret Invasion was released back in September.
