Persona 5: The Phantom X Awakening CBT is due to start on CN servers from August 18 to August 25. The test itself has been nicknamed the “Awakening Test” for all those who are participating in it.
For more information about the game, you can visit the official website.
If you wish to register for the CBT, you can do so on the Perfect World Games official website. However, the survey you need to complete is in Chinese, so it’s best to use a browser translator tool if possible.
The CBT is only available for those on Android devices and PC at the moment. It’s also important to note that those who register need a TapTap account.
The winners for the Persona 5: The Phantom X Awakening CBT will be revealed on August 14. Additionally, each participant will receive a rare outfit that carries over to the public beta and so on.
If you aren’t familiar with Persona 5: The Phantom X Awakening, it’s basically a recreation of the original Persona 5 game. Same universe, the same NPCs, but with a brand-new cast of main characters. The environments are also practically the same as you explore Tokyo with your companions once again.
The Phantom Thieves will also make an appearance during combat. They can be utilised to provide their powerful abilities from the original game. While it’s a shame that the Persona 5 cast isn’t as involved in the game as we’d hoped, it’s still nice to see them.
From what we’ve seen so far, the game plays similarly to the original Persona 5 game. There are tons of mini-games to play through as well as activities that can help to increase your stats.
