Baldur's Gate 3 has already amassed an incredibly dedicated modding scene. Even before its full launch, players were modding away in Early Access, tweaking visuals and adding new features. But now, modders have a whole lot more to work with, including the player origins that you choose from in the character creator screen.
Now, not long after launch, someone has come up with their own - and it's pretty wild. Courtesy of Nexus Mods user NellsRelo, your character's backstory can be that they have just lived as a goat for the past ten years. That is exactly what it sounds like, with the unique origin stating that, for whatever reason, the character was turned into a goat and stayed that way for a decade. They've only just recently reverted to their original race, and as such, are taking some time to adjust. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

"Having been a goat for so long, you know your way around animals and have become quite athletic," reads the mod's description over on its Nexus page. Due to this, you start with proficiency in Animal Handling and Athletics. But it doesn't stop there.
"You also gain Surefooted, granting you immunity to muddy and difficult terrain," says NellRelo. "Your irises are rectangular, granting you a small amount of Darkvision (6 meters), and you've taken a liking to bushy beards."
Right now, the mod won't change your character's appearance, but the stat changes have been implemented. Plus, D&D is all about using your imagination, so there's nothing stopping you from getting into that ten years of being a goat mindset - whatever that is. And whatever that entails.
