Two new Persona titles have leaked, although they’ll hardly come as a surprise after strong rumours recently. Both games emerged on Atlus’ Instagram account ahead of schedule, although the strong Xbox marketing presence suggests they were intended to debut during Microsoft’s own event later in the week. The last time the Redmond firm had dibs on Atlus announcements, it prevented the company from talking about the PlayStation versions for several days. We suspect a similar situation may occur here as well.
As for the games, though, Persona 3 Reload is the heavily rumoured remake of Persona 3 – and it looks like it’s been given a distinctly Persona 5 flavoured lick of paint. That’s due out in early 2024. Meanwhile, Persona 5 Tactica looks like a grid-based Fire Emblem-style reimagining of the hit JRPG, albeit with a chibi look. That’s due out on 17th November, 2023.
Obviously, we will still have to await confirmation of PS5 and PS4 releases, but we’d say they’re relatively safe bets given the bulk of the Persona fanbase plays on PlayStation platforms. In the meantime, we imagine Atlus will be kicking itself for accidentally setting these trailers live ahead of time.

Hmm, I'm not too interested about Persona 5 Tactica in general but I'll have to watch gameplay on it (whenever that is). I am looking forward to Persona 3 Reload though.
