PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can look forward to another update this month, but it's a much smaller selection than what we've become accustomed to. Sony has confirmed that just eight PS5 and PS4 games are being added to the service next week.
Here's what's being added to the PS Plus Game Catalogue:
The headliners here are probably Far Cry 6 — a relatively recent Ubisoft blockbuster — and Rogue Legacy 2, which is making its PlayStation debut through PS Plus. As you can see, no PS1, PS2, or PSP classics are being added this month, which is a bit of a kicker.
However, the PlayStation Blog does say that these are «some» of the games coming to PS Plus in this update. We don't know if that's just odd wording, or whether this is only part of the offering. We'll update this article if we learn more.
All of these games will be playable from next Tuesday, the 20th June. What do you think of this latest update? Are you looking forward to any titles in particular? Watch your digital library grow in the comments section below.
Robert's been a dedicated PlayStation fan since the days of Tekken 2, and he still loves a good dust up. When he's not practising combos, he's usually getting lost in the latest 100-hour RPG, or, y'know, replaying The Witcher 3.
I will totally check out Rogue Legacy 2.
Shredders Revenge only for me
They ran out of Syphon Filter Games so no more Classics lol
I have been waiting years for Rogue Legacy 2. I am unbelievably excited. I’ve always wanted to play Inscryption also
Splendid lineup. As for limited selection, PS Access video has more titles namely A hat in Time...which I've just purchased so you all can thank me for that.
Excited to play Shredder’s Revenge. Anyone who hasn’t tried Inscryption
