PC Reportedly The Most Played Platform Of 2023
When it comes to gaming, there’s always a battle between fans and the different available platforms. We’re not here to pick any sides; we just want you to enjoy games. However, new reports have surfaced to show which platform was the most played for this year. This news comes from How Long To Beat , an online website that provides stats for various video games. Most users might use the website to get a good idea of how long a title might take a player before they can finish a game. This can be incredibly helpful if you want to gauge when to start a game or just how much longer you’ll be spending in the campaign to finish it up. Now the publication has claimed the PC was the top platform for this year.
However, according to How Long To Beat’s X social media account, it seems that the most played platform for this year is the PC. From there, the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and, interestingly enough, the PlayStation 3 followed. It wouldn’t be until after the sixth spot that we see Xbox One, followed by Xbox Series X/S, land on the list. Of course, this is just from How Long To Beat’s website stats, so we may see these platforms readjusted from other sources.

That’s not the only stats being shared from the website either. For instance, the social media account also recently shared the most retired games of 2023. For those unaware, retired means games that were dropped for whatever reason. The top three games from the list from position one to position three are Redfall , Minecraft Legends , and Forza Motorsport .
