Pax Dei , Mainframe Industries’ in-development cloud-based MMORPG, will have a presence at PC Gamer’s upcoming PC Gaming Show. The team has also shared a brand new lore devblog ahead of the upcoming reveal.
The team announced via Discord that Pax Dei will make an appearance at the PC Gaming Show on Sunday, June 11th, joining over 50 games, both previously-announced and new reveals. This show will begin at 1PM PDT/4 PM EDT, taking place after Microsoft's presentation on June 11th, and the Starfield direct.
So what can we expect? Well, first we know what not to expect, as per the announcement, and that is Alpha Testing dates. Those will come later. “Alpha dates are not going to be shared soon (it is still before too long, though it can seem a bit long), and we are not ready yet to do so. But, when we’re ready, we’ll go with the full package so you’ll know and won’t miss it.
It seems like we will be seeing more about the world of Pax Dei, and just what Mainframe is building. They’re working on both a video and a FAQ “focusing on “Making the World of Pax Dei”, so we can expect those to be linked to what the team will present this coming Sunday. As a sandbox, there’s so much to come that will be player-created, so the FAQ and introduction to the world being introduced together makes a lot of sense. The Mainframe team has showed some brief clips in the past from alpha tests, including giving us a taste of the building system. This presentation looks to be much more robust.
