has unveiled the exciting titles receiving a 4K Ultra HD treatment with a limited edition box set following last year’s first-ever volume.
An all-new Paramount Scares 4K collection will be available for purchase starting October 1, 2024, just in time for Halloween. Similar to last year’s release — which featured Rosemary’s Baby, 1989’s Pet Sematary, Smile, Crawl, and Sweeney Todd — this year’s release will include four of Paramount’s classics, all rolled into one set that comes with a collectible poster, a collector’s edition Fangoria magazine, iron-on patches, and a domed sticker.
“Paramount Scares digs up a variety of spine-chilling titles, reanimated for the first time in one limited-edition creepy collection featuring a variety of ghoulish greats,” the product description reads.

Paramount Scares: Volume 2 will include Friday the 13th: Part 2 (1981), Breakdown (1997), World War Z (2013), and Orphan: First Kill (2022).
The upcoming release will mark the first time Friday the 13th: Part 2 will be released in a 4K Ultra HD format. The horror sequel is directed by Steve Miner. Breakdown, on the other hand, followed a married couple’s cross-country trip, which resulted in a terrifying search in the New Mexico desert after one of them went missing. It starred Kurt Russell, Kathleen Quinlan, and J.T. Walsh.
World War Z was directed by Marc Forster and starred Brad Pitt as the former U.N. investigator Gerry Lane, who is on a mission to find a way to lessen the spread of a lethal virus. Meanwhile, Orphan: First Kill is a sequel to the 2009 film starring Isabelle Fuhrman as Esther. The sequel cast members include Julia Stiles, Rossif Sutherland, Hiro Kanagawa, and more.
