As Palworld continues to grow on Steam and Xbox, a content creator took to social media to share how they went about making an «unraidable» base dedicated to mining ore and coal. Knowing that both ore and coal are valuable resources in Palworld, the video covered how the content creator optimized their mining and production operations at the base, and showed others how and where to replicate them.
The video was posted just days after Palworld released a new update to fix some outstanding issues. While they were initially speculated to cause the opposite effect and hinder catch rates, the fix now allows the Lifmunk Effigies to work as intended. Other bug fixes related to multiplayer servers, such as grenades causing weapons to disappear, were addressed.

Twitch partner AverageJonas of Team Liquid took to social media to share a clip from a recent stream. The clip, which was shared on the r/Palworld subreddit, showed how AverageJonas built their base at a location some Palworld players knew was a great ore and coal mining spot. This location is at coordinates 189,-37, to the east of the Sacred Realm of the Guardian fast travel point. With eight ore nodes and five coal nodes, AverageJonas built a base using a 6x6 foundation formation around a grass mound in the middle of the cliff.
With it being high up, the base's location is a natural deterrent against raiders in Palworld. AverageJonas went on to show some boxes he put near the ore and coal nodes for their mining Pals to use, as well as some beds and feeders along the edge of the cliff to avoid overlapping with the facilities located above the nodes on a metal ramp and
