Pengullet is an early-game Pal with the Water- and Ice-type elements in . This penguin will be most players' first source of Pal Fluids. Pengullet can be found wandering the wild on multiple different islands. This Pal is encountered at low levels and can be easily captured with any Pal Sphere. Both of these make gathering Pal Fluids easy to obtain for early-game recipes.
Pals do not evolve as players might expect, coming from other series, such as Pokémon. However, some creatures seem to take on a new, stronger form in the wild. This is the case with Pengullet and Penking. While the former may not be strong, the latter can be taken well into mid-game content. Pengullet can be obtained in one of three ways: catching, buying, or hatching.
Pengullet can be most easily obtained by catching the Pal in the wild. You can find them in Natural Bridge, Grassy Behemoth Hills, and Castaway Beach. Pengullet has the Handiwork, Transporting, Watering, and Cooling Work Suitabilities. Additionally, the Partner Skill, Pengullet Cannon, can be unlocked. This arms a rocket launcher using the Pengullet as ammo. This deals Neutral element damage and stuns enemies at the cost of the Pal. Occasionally, the Pal Merchant in settlements can sell Pengullet for a small price. This blue NPC is not to be confused with the Wandering Merchant, who wears red.
You can also hatch a Pengullet from a Damp Egg. These can be found scattered around the wild or obtained on a Breeding Farm in . Specific combinations of Pals will give a Damp Egg that hatches into a Pengullet. Every pair that can be used to obtain this creature can be found below:
