Pac-Man will be the latest IP to enjoy a collaboration with Fortnite, it has been revealed.
An announcement on the official Pac-Man website states that a series of items featuring Pac-Man designs will be available starting on June 2.
While it doesn’t appear that players will be able to apply a skin that makes them look like Pac-Man himself, then, they should still be able to dress themselves in Pac-Man apparel.
No information has been provided yet on what these items will actually look like, only that the collaboration is on the way.
“Fortnite, an online game marketed and distributed by Epic Games, and Pac-Man have decided to collaborate,” the announcement reads.
“Pac-Man motif items will be available. The collaboration will begin on June 2.”
The Pac-Man items will be the latest in a long line of crossovers that have appeared in Fortnite over the years.
Last week a Robocop skin was added to the game, allowing players to dress themselves up as the iconic ’80s action hero.
Earlier this month, the game brought back a variety of Star Wars skins and items, which had previously been available for a limited time.
Meanwhile, last month a range of outfits and other items based on legendary hip-hop group the Wu-Tang Clan were added to the game.
Fortnite players have recently been enjoying Epic Games’ decision to officially make a ‘Zero Build’ mode permanent.
The game removed building from its default battle royale mode in March to mark the start of its latest season, and the game type proved popular with players.
The decision was then made later that month to make Zero Build a permanent option, meaning any players who want to just play battle royale combat without having to build anything can now do so.
