Disney’s Star Wars Celebration 2022 is currently underway and fans are being treated to a ton of new content from a galaxy far, far away. From the news that the Disney Plus’s Andor series will hit the service later this August to the official announcement of the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor game, the event has had something for everyone. Now, the fun continues as the event has revealed that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords will officially release on June 8 for the Nintendo Switch.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords was originally released for Xbox back in 2004. The following year, it made its way over to PC. The game proved a hit amongst players, selling over a million copies in the United States alone and earning generally positive reviews across the board. Now, it is finally making its way to the Switch, joining its predecessor which arrived on the console last November.

News of the game’s upcoming Switch debut was accompanied by a quick teaser. The less than a minute long trailer offers a glimpse at what adventures fans can get up to in the ported title. From daring lightsaber battles to quick blaster duels, Knights of the Republic 2 offers a classic Star Wars adventure for fans with some fun twists. Plus, the trailer promises that the Restored Content DLC will soon make its way to the Switch version.
