Kelley Flanagan admitted she "didn't look up to" her ex-boyfriend Peter Weber, former lead of The Bachelor, when they were dating. Kelley and Peter had an interesting start to their relationship, and fans were surprised to learn it began before the show started filming. About a month prior, Kelley spotted Peter randomly at a hotel. She came up to him and excitedly told him she was going to be on the show. The pair allegedly danced all night before parting ways. Peter's season ended in disaster, and while he did get engaged to contestant Hannah Sluss, the couple broke up only months later. Kelley and Peter remained friends after the season's end, and in April 2020, he confirmed they were officially dating. They did countless interviews and seemed serious about each other, but in December of the same year, Peter announced the couple had broken up.
