Lead actor and executive producer Kaley Cuoco given an update on plans for The Flight Attendant season 3. Based on Chris Bohjalian's eponymous 2018 novel, the Emmy-nominated and darkly comic mystery drama released on HBO Max in December 2020. The Flight Attendant season 1 was subject to rave reviews, with major praise going toward Cuoco's sharp and likable portrayal of the title character, Cassie Bowden. In April 2022, The Flight Attendant season 2 premiered, jumping a year ahead of the events of the previous season. The second installment was also acclaimed, leaving many to wonder if the continued success would warrant another chapter.
During season 2, which ended its run last Thursday, The Flight Attendant charted new territory dissimilar to the season 1 storyline. Cuoco's Cassie is reintroduced as a sober CIA surveillant, who keeps an eye out for shady individuals between flights. In a new conversation with People, however, Cuoco has ostensibly crushed hopes for a renewal in the near future. As the Big Bang Theory alum says, there are currently no plans for The Flight Attendant season 3.
