The Year of the Tiger has just begun, bringing the world into the third year of the Chinese lunar calendar. Overwatch is currently celebrating the Lunar New Year with a variety of festive new skins, returning brawls, and weekly rewards for players to unlock.
A number of older skins from previous Overwatch Lunar New Year events are returning, which will give new players a chance to snap up classic cosmetics. Experienced players may take an interest in the five new skins added this year for Ashe, Soldier: 76, Wrecking Ball, Tracer, and Mercy.

The official Overwatch Twitter account recently shared a short video showcasing some of the game's new skins in action. The clip serves as an introduction to Nezha Tracer, Seolbim Mercy, Prosperity Ashe, Auspicious Soldier: 76, and Porcelain Wrecking Ball. Each of these new skins features festive design elements drawing on culture, mythology, history from China and neighboring Asian countries, as well as the specific imagery of the Lunar New Year. The video pays special attention to Nezha Tracer, which is the first new skin to be shown off.
Every week, players will be able to unlock sprays, player icons, and three festive skins by playing matches in Quick Play, Competitive Play, or the Arcade.
