Many players have cited God of War (2018) as one of the most visually stunning games released on the PS4 to date. From the detailed, atmospheric environments to the terrific utilization of a one-shot camera perspective, the technical performance of God of War is incredible to witness for several users. However, that doesn't necessarily mean God of War is completely bereft of any technical hiccups.
Within the past decade, it's become quite commonplace for AAA titles to launch with lingering bugs and glitches. Even something like The Witcher 3, which received a great deal of acclaim, had a multitude of technical issues that players had to deal with, before the game finally got patched. While players haven't seen anything quite to that effect within God of War, one player managed to trigger a rather strange glitch involving Atreus.
New God of War PC Update Brings Quality-of-Life Changes
A Reddit user named CollateralJustice took an in-game screenshot of Atreus shooting an electric arrow from inside a tree. It's unclear as to how exactly Atreus' character model managed to get stuck said tree, but over on the PC version of God of War, there was an Atreus bug that caused him to be unresponsive while the player is progressing to other parts of the game. It does appear the user is playing on the PC version, so it seems that there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out.
It's interesting how bugs and glitches sometimes tend to occur more so on PC than on other platforms.
