Overwatch 2's closed beta is now live, and thousands of fans of the multiplayer team-based shooter are getting the chance to try the new hero Sojourn. Sojourn is a mid-range DPS character wielding a railgun, but her kit makes her a near-range threat, too. Having now had the time to see what Sojourn is capable of, some Overwatch 2 players think she could be one of the best DPS characters in the game. A recently shared clip from Overwatch 2's closed beta shows exactly why she's scary.
The clip in question delivers a situation where Sojourn is able to flex all of her strengths as a mid-range DPS. It's exactly what Overwatch 2 players interested in checking out Sojourn are going to want to see. Sojourn is able to use a mix of her abilities, which includes her Power Slide, Disrupter Shot, her primary and secondary fire, and her Overclock Ultimate ability, mixed with an Ana Nano Boost as icing on the cake.

In the clip, which was shared by twitch streamer Apply, Sojourn is able to receive their Nano Boost and then catch the opposing team in a hallway. Here's how Sojourn's strengths come together. When activating Sojourn's Overclock, her railgun not only auto-charges so alt-fires can be shot rapidly, but those alt-fires also pierce through enemies. As such, Apply is able to use a single railgun charge shot to kill three opponents, delivering what Apply describes as «so satisfying» Sojourn collateral kills.
