Bethesda Softworks brought fishing to The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim with the release of the game's Special Edition, and since then many fans of the RPG have been catching their own meat. One Skyrim player recently spent 12 hours fishing in the game before they choose to drop their fishing rod alongside all the fish they had acquired back in the water.
Reddit user Sickliff recently posted a clip of their leisurely activity as they unload their inventory after fishing in Skyrim for what they claim was 12 hours. Because they spent so long fishing, the amount of fish they unload in their video causes some frame dips as the game tries to figure out what the player is doing. The clip shows what seems to be over a hundred fish being thrown back into the ocean as the player swims with the inanimate creatures that are normally seen swimming around when a Skyrim player takes a dip in rivers, lakes, and the ocean to the North.

Sickliff's Skyrim clip begins with the player going through their inventory to focus on their Fishing Rod before dropping it in the water they're floating in. Because this part of the ocean is enclosed as part of a hatchery, the fish and Fishing Rod float outward from the land until they get caught in a net that ropes off a large chunk of the ocean. Sickliff then swims up to the netting to show the massive amount of fish from above and below the water line for comparison.
