Chris Pratt wears Star-Lord's comic-accurate costume in new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 set photos. The third Guardians of the Galaxy movie from director James Gunn has been in development for many years. After his firing and rehiring caused a few delays, Gunn was finally able to start work on the threequel in late 2021. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 marks the return of the team after their next appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder. Plot details are widely unknown, although the film's biggest piece of new casting sees Will Poulter join the ensemble as Adam Warlock.
Throughout the production process of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, there have not been many looks at what the movie will contain. James Gunn has continued to update fans with his growing Rick and Morty collection, while stars like Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillan—who return as Gamora and Nebula—have shared behind-the-scenes looks at the process as well. The rest of Guardians of the Galaxy 3's cast includes Dave Bautista's Drax, Sean Gunn's Kraglin, Pom Klementieff's Mantis, and the CGI duo of Rocket and Groot. It's unconfirmed what threat Star-Lord and his team will face, but rumors suggest it could be High Evolutionary.
