Chris Pratt shares how his family welcomed him home after wrapping up filming on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Director James Gunn recently revealed that production has wrapped for the upcoming Marvel Studios films. With that, Pratt has finally been able to reunite with his wife and kids.
The development and production of the film were both tumultuous, resulting in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 being significantly delayed. It was supposed to release in the aftermath of the Infinity Saga. However, due to Gunn's firing and eventual rehiring from his directing duties, the project was pushed back. By the time principal photography was ready to begin, the coronavirus pandemic made things more difficult for his cast and crew. Luckily, when shooting started, it progressed quietly. Plot details are still scant at the moment, but it's expected to deal with the unknown whereabouts of the original Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and the upcoming introduction of Will Poulter's Adam Warlock. Several set images have also given fans their first look at some of the movie's characters, including some new aliens.
