As filming wraps on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, James Gunn shares an emotional post about the movie's cast, crew, and characters. After confirming that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 had wrapped filming, James Gunn followed up with a heartfelt Twitter thread about the cast, crew, and the characters of the GotG trilogy. In the emotional post, Gunn shared a picture of the slate for the final shot of Vol. 3, which the camera crew had decorated with their custom lens caps and gifted him, and how finishing the shot almost brought him to tears. He went on to describe how Guardians of the Galaxy has filled the last decade of his life, saying that he loved the cast, the crew, and the characters and that he considered making the three Guardians
